GNA-G Community VCs #1 2020Q2 – 26 May 2020

Due to COVID-19, we held our first GNA-G Community VCs on May 26th, 2020. Two identical 2-hour VC slots were organised to allow global presence at this GNA-G event.

APAN45 – Singapore – 27 March 2018

Co-located with APAN45, the GNA Technical WG had its first of four meetings in 2018. Four slide decks were used during this WG meeting that ran from 1:30pm until 5pm:

  • Dale Finkelson (Internet2) and Erik-Jan Bos (NORDUnet) used slides to run the meeting.
  • Prof. Francis Lee (SingAREN) presented the latest on APR.
  • Dale Finkelson (Internet2) presented on Federated Operations on ANA.
  • Alexander van den Hil (SURFnet) presented on Collaboration, the MoU, and cost sharing on ANA

Internet2 Global Summit – Washington, DC, USA – 23-26 April 2017

At the 2017 Global Summit, a full session was dedicated to the developments of the Global Network Architecture. After a short introduction by Jim Williams, nine speakers jointly talked about their views on the GNA:

GÉANT Symposium 2017 – Budapest, Hungary – 3-4 October 2017

Erik-Jan Bos (NORDUnet) presented an update about the work on GNA at the GÉANT Symposium 2017 in Budapest, Hungary, on 3-4 October 2017, as part of the session called “GÉANT collaborations: inside and out” chaired by Cathrin Stöver (GÉANT). Slides:

APAN44 – Dalian, China – 26 August – 1 September 2017

René Buch (CEO, NORDUnet) gave a keynote presentation at the closing plenary session of APAN44, titled “Global Collaboration – The cornerstone of the Next Generation Global R&E Infrastructure”. This keynote premiered the new video on the vision of the Global Network
Architecture, produced under auspices of the members of the Global R&E Network CEO Forum.
